• Keep a journal. Write down stories when you can. Storytelling helps us process  and remember information...they give meaning to data. Record your "firsts", such as delivering your first baby

• Keep your clients up to date with what’s happening.

• Study and review what you've learned each day

• Stay engaged. Participate in workshops that are offered and take advantage of in-person opportunities

• Interact with peers and the experts that you come in contact with

• BE  PROFESSIONAL! Be respectful of staff you come in contact with, exhibit a strong work ethic and always dress appropropriately

• Always be enthusiastic! 

• BE POSITIVE!

• Take care or yourself!
